Nein, im sauerl\u00e4ndischen Elspe kann man in den Sommermonaten w\u00e4hrend der Spielzeit der dortigen Karl-May-Festspiele t\u00e4glich dieses Spektakel erleben.<br \/>Die Elsper Westerbahn eigentlich eine 760 mm-spurige Schmalspurbahn aus \u00d6sterreich, die es ins Sauerland verschlagen hat. Loks, Wagen, Gleise, alles stammt von Schmalspurbahnen aus \u00d6sterreich.<br \/>Soweit rekonstruierbar baute die Zillertalbahn im Jahre 1971 f\u00fcr einen Western Park in Grafrath bei M\u00fcnchen einen Westernzug. Dazu verwendete man die beiden Krauss-Lokomotiven 7056\/1915 und 7377\/1917 der B\u00f6hlerwerke aus Kapfenberg. Die drei Wagen stammen von der Heeresfeldbahn und kamen vermutlich von den Steierm\u00e4rkischen Landesbahnen und der Zillertalbahn. Zwei der Wagen wurden laut Fabrikschild im Jahre 1938 von O&#038;K gebaut. Ebenfalls auf einem Drehgestell der Heeresfeldbahn entstand ein Tender f\u00fcr die Loks. Die Gleise mit einer H\u00f6he von 93 mm wurden in Donawitz gewalzt.<br \/>Die Bahn war zun\u00e4chst in Grafrath im Einsatz gewesen. Nach der Aufl\u00f6sung des dortigen Parks im Jahre 1974, wurde die Bahn nach Elspe verkauft. Dort soll es zun\u00e4chst einen Schienenkreis gegeben haben, sp\u00e4ter wurde die heutige B\u00fchnenstrecke mit zwei Wendeschleifen gebaut. Mit dem Bau der Elspe-Halle im Jahre 1994 musste die \u00f6stliche Wendeschleife unterbrochen werden, so dass heute nur noch ein Pendelbetrieb m\u00f6glich ist.<br \/>Obwohl auf der Bahn w\u00e4hrend der Spielzeit t\u00e4glich \u201ePlandampf\u201c angeboten wird, ist ihre Existenz in Fachkreisen fast unbekannt.
